Connections Band: Hearts for North Texas

Hearts for North Texas-v3

Great Music For  A Great Cause

The Connections Band, a band known for concerts featuring artists from the seventies such as the Eagles, Elton John, and Billy Joel, has teamed up with the Allen Symphony Chorus and Allen Philharmonic for  the “Hearts for North Texas” concert for tornado relief.

Initially, the concert was created in partnership with Allen Symphony Chorus to support the civic music group in Allen and the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR). After the December tornadoes, however, the band moved to partner with not only the Allen Symphony Chorus but also the Texas Baptist Men and UMCOR to support disaster relief in North Texas.

The concert will feature music from the Beatles, Billy Joel, Elton John, James Taylor, the Eagles and others.  This show promises to be a remarkable evening of music arranged for choir and strings along with the members of the Connections band.

The show begins at 7:00pm on Friday, February 12, at Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church in Allen.

Tickets are $20.00 for adults,  $15.00 for Senior Citizens, and $10 for Students.

Tickets may be purchased at the door or online at:   WWW.ALLENPHILHARMONIC.ORG
