On Palm Sunday we celebrate the arrival of Jesus in Jerusalem with a celebration service complete with waving palm branches and special joyful music.
As a special treat, our Women in Mission host their annual Palm Sunday Bake Sale in the North Hallway
with all proceeds benefiting scholarships for graduating high school seniors and college students.

Children’s Seder Experience • 6:30pm • Gym/Fellowship Hall

Maundy Thursday, March 24, 2016
Worship & Communion • 7:00pm • Sanctuary
On Maundy Thursday we share the story of the Upper Room before Jesus’ trial and crucifixion.
We celebrate through music, scripture and communion Jesus’ command to love and serve one another.
On Good Friday, we present “Tenebrae: A Service of Darkness” by Hal Hopson. This cantata of scripture readings and haunting music powerfully describes Christ’s trial, suffering and Crucifixion. The service features the Chancel Choir with an orchestra of professional string players and Alexa Frederick on oboe. Readings will alternate with musical pieces as lights on the altar are extinguished one by one until we sit in darkness.
Children’s Experience • 7:00pm • Base Camp
Because the Tenebrae is a somber service, we offer our children an alternative service at the same time. We invite kindergarten-sixth graders to join us in Base Camp at 7:00pm for a Good Friday Children’s Experience. We will learn about the last few hours of Jesus life in a way that children can understand. Nursery is open for children in pre-K and younger.
