On Palm Sunday we celebrate the arrival of Jesus in Jerusalem with a celebration service complete with waving palm branches and special joyful music. As a special treat, our Women in Mission host their annual Palm Sunday Bake Sale in the North Hallway with all proceeds benefiting scholarships for graduating high school seniors and college students.

Share conversations & communion with Jesus & His Disciples in a special worship service that demonstrates the sacrifice, service, and remembrance of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Tenebrae, a word that means “darkness,” signifies the mood and sadness we experience on Good Friday. Join us in the sanctuary at 7:00pm for our Tenebrae Service featuring John Rutter’s “Requiem,” performed by the FUMC Allen Chancel Choir, members of the the Allen Symphony Chorus, and orchestra to share this work. Feature soloists are Cathy McPherson and Kim Mathews.
Good Friday Children’s Experience • 7:00pm • Grace Land
Kindergarten-sixth graders are invited to join us in Grace Land at 7:00pm for a Good Friday Children’s Experience. We will learn about the last few hours of Jesus life in a way that children can understand. Nursery is open for children in pre-K and younger.

All are invited to participate in a Service of Healing & Wholeness where worshipers may offer the prayers of their hearts and the concerns of family and friends. This stirring service, which begins at 2:00pm in the Upper Room Chapel, leads participants to receive God’s promise of healing towards wholeness and restoration through liturgy and prayers.
