VENUE Sound check and performance at the Kennedy Center, located on the banks of the Potomac River in Washington, D.C.
STAFF Professional production team, concert advertising and audience development, concert and venue management: stage crew,
house management, ushers, box office, and official concert program.
POST CONCERT One archival recording of your performance for ensemble, certificate of participation and MCP memento for each
performer, MCP lanyard for identification and souvenir, commemorative plaque and framed mini poster for ensemble, and post-concert
PREPARATION Performance scores, festival chorus development, preparation monitoring by MCP staff, preparation assistance
through mp3 part learning tracks, rehearsal space, and professional collaborative pianist.
EXPERIENCE Nationally-recognized guest conductor, opportunity to attend evening performance to hear other portions of the
concert, two free concert tickets for ensemble director, ensemble listing in official concert program and poster, official performance
photographer with purchase opportunity provided after residency weekend.
ENTERTAINMENT Group tickets to a musical, play, or concert, based on availability.
TRANSPORTATION Concert-related transportation.
STAFF MCP Ensemble Services Coordinator for questions and clarifications regarding MCP package; Travel assistance available
through in-house airline coordinator.
LODGING Four-night stay at a Washington, D.C. hotel; additional night(s) at prevailing rate based on availability may be requested.
FOOD Groups may purchase VISA cards with a $45 credit to be used by each participant for three $15 meals at restaurants or delis
of your choice; this does not include a group booking.
Join the FUMC Allen Chancel choir and attend rehearsals 75 percent attendance on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings (Sept 2017- May 2018)

We will use the MCP booking agent who will include amenities only available through group purchase.
September 2017: Saturday Durufle Requiem Retreat
8:00am-3:00pm Dates TBD but we are looking at September 16, 23, or 30. Attendance will not be absolutely mandatory but it will be highly encouraged!!!
Duruflé Requiem concerts. Concert #1: Palm Sunday, March 25, 2018 7:00pm FUMC Allen. A recording of our group performing the work is required by MCP. One additional concert dates to be determined.
